800 billion WOW
November 25th, 2008Yup, The total bail out is now $1.5 trillion. Holy sh!t!.

Google fools unemployment
November 24th, 2008Well, Google is apparently running a little game with the SEC regarding the thousands of recent layoffs. The “trimming of operational expenses” has led to thousands of layoffs that are not going into the accounting (state and fed) system.
Oh, but these 10,000 people are “temporary operational expense” employees. Heh, nice… gotta remember that one when I need to kill off a college campus chunk of employment.

Microsoft says devices will be ready in 18-24 months. I would like to get the detailed specs right now, my list:
- Chip-set
- White papers
- Any RFC out there?
- Who is gearing up for the USB / Blue-tooth add on
- Control mechanisms?
That is just the beginning…
I am excited - this is postponing my purchase of a UMPC. This is a frequency MADE for UMPC.

FCC Vote delayed on white space
November 4th, 2008My post from yesterday has an update. Basically there is a delay to an unspecified time. The free wi-fi we have all been waiting for is delayed far a while longer.
We will, instead, have to put MORE traffic on the mobile towers. Keep your eyes open…
