For those of you who work in economics, I wanted to tell you that the recession is official.I would like to thank George Bush for his diligent inaction, poor policy, and overall weak leadership.
I would also like to thank the many people currently denying having ever voted for Bush.
Next on the thank you list is the Dems and GOP for the deregulation that sparked all of this despite the overwhelming intellectual “WTF!”.
At this point I would like to suggest a performance pay scale for all legislators. They get paid only when they do good. With this system in place I would have a congressional staff mopping my floor.
If that was the case, I would try my best to train the dogs to sh!t on the floor.
Another solution, weekly votes of confidence on most public figures. Unlike the English (and other countries) confidence votes, mine would be a random selection of people from sub-poverty status to live in these representatives homes until they reach 51% confidence.
For some reason everyone I know could see this coming. WTF is the problem when these people go to Washington? Seriously - is the air that freakin’ thin out there?
Someone clue me in!
